Just letting you know, the boots came today. And they are BEE_yootiful!!! Feel slightly larger than when we fit them at TRF but I figure since they are inside out like we did that they slip a lot easier perhaps. No worries though thicker socks will more than take care of that situation. I wanted to thank you so much for your help, extra care in selecting a better grade of leather and hope to show them off to you at this years Texas Ren Fest. Have a great year to come.

Our instincts are tracking. I swear, after 23 years in the Army, I should have taken out stock in Kiwi. LOL. First thing after saddle soaping off the factory coating is to start polishing new boots, over and over and over until a good base is down. Then get out the cotton balls and cold water. Luckily, a good satiny brush shine will do for mine. Thanks again. I describe the feel of the leather on my boots to my fellow "festers" as feeling like "buttah". They are just that supple. Nice work my friend. I will send as many folks your way as I can.

Thank you. The boots arrived last Thursday and fit perfectly. Yours are the only boots that consistently easily fit me. I have tried boots from other makers; with plastic bags, and just about every other trick, and had no luck in fitting.
You provide a quality product at reasonable prices that accommodates even hard-to-fit feet and ankles.

The white boots are here and are FANTASTIC!!!! They are a perfect fit and look incredible. Now, I can't wait to get the gold and please go ahead with the silver. Hi Doug It was great meeting you. As Travis said this last weekend at the Florida Ren-Fest here in Broward County, I am the poster child for Renboots, at least around here. My wife and I attended the Festival nine of the eleven days. Every time I was in your tent people thought I worked there. We have been dressing four years now and about 95% of our leather is from Renboots. The "damage" this year is a baldric(to add to my other two from you), two tankard holders, a belt, a pistol, my wonderful Jolly Roger boots, two pairs of gloves, my new three corner hat(blue and gold trim), and a new color scheme for my Musketeer hat that I got from you two years ago. With new plumes and a hat band, this is the third color change for that hat.Your products are wearable, comfortable, well made and look great. The other reason for this letter is about Travis and Alison. They were by far the nicest and kindest people we met working at the ren-fest, and met quite a lot. They were honest, helpful, and knowledgeable about your products. I never felt like they were trying to sell me something I didn't want, need, or wasn't right for my look. I ordered my boots 2 days ago, and bam!!! They are already here!!!
Wow! Boots are great! (the Edward) You’ll without a doubt want to wear period socks with these boots. Tube socks were too thick. I am really pleased with the uppers,

My husband’s Edward Knee Boots arrived today and they surpass our expectations. Your delivery service was wonderful, and expediting our order so that he could have his boots for our daughter’s February wedding was much appreciated. Although these boots are listed under “costume” boots, they are anything but what I would have expected of a costume. The leather is wonderful and soft, the boots are light weight and nicely shaped. Your directions to order them 1 size larger was exactly right on and my husband is now looking forward to wearing them on the day. He has difficulties finding footwear that is comfortable and doesn’t pinch his feet. These boots are going to make his day a pleasant one, and I should be able to expect him to be on his feet late into the night on the dance floor. Thanks again.

I have not received the package but with the help of the Fed Ex tracking number, I know where my package is at this very moment. I did not want to pu off sending you my comments another day. I truly have not been treated as a first class customers in years. Your service rates #1. I can say this because I was never given a menu of options when I called and Doug or Kim always answered the phone within a couple of rings. And when answered we talked as if we have known each other all our lives. Very personable service which I rate on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the highest) 10+. Hello Renboots,
Just a quick note to say that I received my Ghillie Boots today. They were surprisingly soft and supple. I put a pair if Superfeet orthotic innersoles and they were super comfy.
I'm wearing them to my wedding in Scotland with my newly made kilt. The delivery was swift and the product almost perfect. Fine tuning them with the innersoles really did the trick. I look forward to wearing these boots in the future.

Yes you helped me quite a bit. I ordered the Strider Buckle and they fit great. I came into your TRF (Texas Renaissance Festival) shop a few weeks ago to have the straps tightened and now they are perfect. In fact I believe I spoke to you on the Sunday of my trip about putting in a sheath for a boot knife (which I have yet to find the "right" one) and about my friend "Big" Randy L.
My wife tried on a pair of the Strider Buckle and the Guinevere and we both liked the latter and are going to order a pair for the next ren season. I have also been pointing everyone I know to your shop for a pair of boots.

SUCCESS! I was able to get the Barbossa boots on. Still a struggle but the split up the back enabled me to put a long shoe horn in to help my heel, also I bought some ladies knee high nylons and they work great. Thanks for working with me. I really love the boots and am looking forward to all the fun I'll have wearing them during the many parades I'm in. I don't know if I told you or not but I am a Shrine Clown. I started having a reaction to the grease paint on my face and my doctor told me I could not put it on anymore but I loved clowning to much to quit so I switched to a pirate character and am able to use womens cosmetics to make up with no reaction. I get a few weird looks in the cosmetic aisles but other than that it's working great. Thanks again for your help. I'm really proud of these boots. AWESOME BOOTS!
I received my BROWN boots on Wednesday and went to the Faire on Sunday at
Stafford Lake in Novato, California - They fit perfectly! After 8 hours,
even though the rest of me was tired from a day of fun and frolic, my feet
felt like a million dollars! I can't say enough about your boots, and hope
that you continue selling them for many years to come. I did do some
bragging about my boots while at the Excalibur Leather Tent, where I bought
a BROWN leather baldric, and a few of the folks there later asked me about
the boots and baldric, and how did I like them.... Well, what could I tell
them - THE BOOTS ARE AWESOME! GET A PAIR, YOU WON"T BE DISAPPOINTED! I do like the thin sole that I got on these, and think that I will get my next pair with the Vibram Sole so that I can compare them!

Just thought I'd let you know, I have just spent the last week learning to ride a horse!!
Since I had no professional equipment of my own, I opted to ride in my Prince John boots....and boy do they ROCK!!
I must have had twenty different admiring people asking about them, many wanting to know where they could find a pair of their own!!
I can understand why. Aside from looking simply fabulous, Renboots tall models are perfectly suited to riding when worn above the knee. The soles grip the stirrups well and the leg shafts are comfortable enough to avoid chafing from the stirrup straps.

SUBJECT: I GOT BBBOOOOOOTTTSSSSS!!!
Good Morning Doug,
Just wanted to say thank-you very much for the boots. They arrived in prompt fashion at exactly 10:00 Friday morning, so I had a lovely surprise waiting for me after work. Just what I needed following a long week of office silliness!!
Firstly, the boots themselves: Quite simply, I slipped them on, zipped them up and they sat like slippers on my feet. They required no breaking in and they fit perfectly, and I do mean PERFECTLY. I have never had anything like this directly 'out of the box'. My British Army 1982 Falklands War issue combat boots took 12 years of hard action to be this comfortable. My sincerest compliments to your craftsmanship!!
I wore them all waking hours of the weekend, be it lazing around with videos, fighting against my Swordsmaister or just running around the woodland (a nice little field test).
From the word go they were fantastic, very hardwearing and well suited to a life of action.
Secondly, one of the more endearing factors was the kind of sole you used. I play a Thief character in my roleplay group and we often play at the Napoleonic forts of Portsmouth. Usually you can hear me sneaking around because all our shoes make this loud 'Clack' sound on the concrete floor, but the Renboots are almost completely silent!!
Now that's cool!!
Also, I noticed that you had updated the website with a new offer of a Tshirt. I cursed myself when I saw that, since my order had been placed only a few days before. Yet I was destined for further surprise when I find you had kindly sent me a Tshirt too!!
My housemates were also present at the opening of the box since I had been raving about this for ages and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Upon seeing the level of regard you afford your clients their remarks were along the lines of "Wow, what a dude!!", albeit in modern colloquial English that even I do not fully comprehend :-D
In summary I am happy to say that this whole experience has been both a pleasure and a delight.

Subject: Boots at warp speed!!
I placed an order with you guys last week and finally got the money order in the mail this past Tuesday. I assumed it would take a few weeks for you to process the order and the like (like most places that I have ordered from over the net) but imagine my surprise when I see the FedEx truck pull up today with my boots!! Say, I meant to write a while back but never got around to it. The exchanged boots arrived with no problem-(they) fit and are a prize(d) item of my wardrobe, evoking jealousy amongst my friends. When asked, I will always refer people to your website. Wonderful product!

Just wanted to drop a line and say "thank you" and that my boots are wonderful. I spoke with Doug on the phone yesterday (Friday) about my order which had recently arrived at your office, and he mentioned that he hoped to have everything shipped by the end of the day. I was quite happy with that and, while a little disappointed I wouldn't be able to wear the boots to our Twelfth Night celebration today, was quite happy they would be in my hands soon. IMAGINE my surprise when there was a knock on the door this morning as I was preparing to leave and the FedEx deliveryman dropped off my boots! I think that was wonderful, and I feel you really went above and beyond for me... The boots fit great and they are so soft I was able to wear them all day with no break-in time at all. I will certainly recommend your services to anyone I know looking for a good pair of boots. Thank you again.

Thank you for taking the time to work with me regarding the Little John knee boots and trying to get them to fit. I guess I am one of the oddballs with the thick ankles and the small feet. As a testament to the quality, as hard as I tried to put them on not a single stitch broke on them! Extremely durable! I'm sure the Prince John boots will be of the same quality and last me through many Renaissance Faires.
It makes a big difference in a company when you can have a great conversation with the owner and get your issues resolved all while getting a laugh or two in the process. You will be the first I recommend to others to get their boots! Thank you for your outstanding customer support!
